Job Description The Business Transactions Attorney Senior Consultant I team provides legal advice and counsel on highly complex, strategic, or sensitive issues on behalf of Business Transactions. This role collaborates with management and business partners on strategy, actions plans, and communications and significantly influences the future strategy of an Area of Responsibility (AOR) and execute results for the AOR.

Key Responsibilities Real time, business-focused commercial legal advice, drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts, including SAAS agreements, Professional Service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, event/marketing agreements, product/service evaluation agreements, real estate leases, and contract amendments Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Facilities, Risk and Compliance, Privacy, Security, IT, and HR located in India and US to identify and solve problems, build partnerships, and complete commercial transactions Identify potential issues related to data, privacy, and intellectual property for referral, collaboration, and escalation to internal subject matter experts located in the US Conduct complex research and determine applicable and pertinent laws, statutes, regulations, rules, and other legal authority Collaborate with other areas of L&R department like data privacy team, IP Team to get favourable terms for allstate in commercial contract Will need to work with US team Education Legal Degree from premier college in India Experience 5 or more years of experience (Preferred) Supervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.
