We are seeking an experienced Paralegal Specialist to join the Walt Disney World Litigation Team in Disney Experiences as a trusted resource to attorneys and business partners. The Paralegal Specialist will be responsible to assist in-house and outside counsel with all phases of case preparation including calendar deadlines, gathering information requested in discovery, deposition preparation, filing of court documents and other litigation related tasks.

The Paralegal Specialist is expected to exercise sound judgment, proactively identify issues, improve processes, and serve as a reliable civil litigation expert capable of executing time-sensitive matters. What You Will Do

  • Assess and Open New Cases Oversee Document Retention Coordinate Discovery and Trial Preparation with Outside Counsel and Internal Business Areas Review and Revise Discovery Responses Draft and Revise Discovery, Pleadings
  • Correspondence Communicate with Corporate Clients re Ongoing Litigation Evaluate and Improve Administrative Processes Propose practical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improved processes that enhance efficiency.
  • Required Qualifications & Skills: 10-15 years’ paralegal experience at an in-house legal department or large law firm managing litigation Knowledge of applicable civil litigation procedures and terminology Strong research, analytical

  • drafting skills with careful attention to detail Ability to work independently, with some supervision, on complex and sensitive projects and assignments Ability to conduct detailed and comprehensive legal research Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a team-based environment and consistently meet deadlines Must be collaborative, team-oriented and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet client deadlines.
  • Strong computer and software program skills and proficient legal research skills; knowledge of digital platforms a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting hospitality, entertainment, or consumer‑facing businesses.
  • A good understanding of Risk Management and potential litigation.
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience The hiring range for this position in Orlando, FL is $100,100 to $134,200 per year based on a 40 hour work week.

  • The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
