Entry-Level Electrical Modification Technician – P-8 Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations Boeing Global Servies (BGS) is looking for Entry Level Electrical Modification Technicians to join our P-8 team in Jacksonville, FL . Position Responsibilities: Assist with disassembly of systems components to support the correction of failures or implement changes Assist with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components Fabricate and modify aerospace products according to specifications Assist with and perform tasks associated with the safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations) Work under general supervision Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Experience with electrical/electronic theories and avionics systems, shop mathematics and practices Experience in working with schematics, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures.

Experience with component and wire installation to include repairing, modifying, testing and troubleshooting new, experimental, and disturbed systems Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overtime Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with avionics and aircraft systems FAA certification in Airframe and/or Power Plant Active US Security Clearance at the Secret level or higher Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process Shift: This position is variable shift Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies .
