Work Flexibility: Onsite Join a team focused on bringing new and existing medical device products into manufacturing through robust processes, equipment, and systems. This role combines engineering execution and project coordination to support product launches, process improvements, and manufacturing readiness in a regulated environment.
You will work across engineering, quality, and manufacturing functions to ensure products and processes meet quality, regulatory, and operational requirements
What You Will Do
- Support new product introductions and manufacturing process implementation, ensuring activities and documentation comply with established quality and regulatory requirements.
- Manage capital equipment projects, including equipment selection, installation, qualification, validation, and readiness for production.
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment layouts, and material flow to support efficient operations and new process integration.
- Partner with quality and cross-functional teams to develop process controls, inspection methods, risk assessments, measurement system analyses, and validation documentation.
- Develop, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation, including standard operating procedures, control plans, and production approval records.
- Train manufacturing personnel on new equipment, processes, and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety and good manufacturing practice requirements.
- What You Will Need: Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 1 year and up to 3 years of engineering experience in manufacturing, process engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency with standard computer applications used for engineering analysis, documentation, and project execution.
- Preferred Experience supporting process validation, equipment qualification, or manufacturing process development.
- Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and product or process design principles.
- Experience participating in risk analysis, process controls, production transfers, or new product launch activities.
