- Amazon's transportation network is a critical driver of the customer experience flywheel, where faster delivery speeds and lower shipping costs attract more customers, generate more volume, and enable continued investment in network expansion. As a Senior Program Manager on the Canada Transportation team, you will be the single point of accountability for Canada's overall Cost to Serve (CtS) owning strategy and execution across last mile, middle mile, air, linehaul, sort center and network design. You will drive LMPP improvement, New facility sort point planning, linehaul capacity planning for events, and end-to-end FC and FDI launches. This is a senior strategic role that blends network design optimization, financial planning ownership, and hands-on execution, requiring you to influence across operations, finance, and planning organizations and drive parity with the best in class in the network. Key job responsibilities - Own Canada's overall Cost to Serve as the single point of accountability — consolidating tracking, reporting, and delivery across all network segments and partnering cross functionally for integrated CtS management - Drive LMPP metric improvement through leading indicators (fill rate, touch ratio, length of haul), and influencing to reduce IRIS/IRA deviation versus plan - Own Length of Haul (LH) model validation — establishing the LH Plan of Record, measuring deviation between modeled and actual performance, and revising to improve accuracy - Deliver high-fidelity OP1, OP2, QXG, and STP input submissions for Touch Ratio, Length of Haul, and Package Cube forecasts to Finance and planning partners
- serve as POC for financials across all planning cycles ensuring PoP, YoY improvements with levers identified and entitlement substantiated, - Manage linehaul HVE planning and capacity optimization converting constraints into speed and cost goals, and systemically addressing constraints - Own end-to-end launches — planning sort points and dock door requirements, creating launch playbooks, working backwards plan, coordinating network design changes, and managing execution - Partner with Finance leadership on Canada finance strategy alignment, - Responsible for driving cost improvement initiatives for all planning cycles, reporting out WBR/DBR/Planning Cycle updates to senior leadership. A day in the life You start your day reviewing Cost to Serve performance and leading indicators across all miles. By mid-morning, you lead a linehaul capacity review ahead of an HVE, converting a middle-mile constraint into an addressable plan. After lunch, you validate Athena model outputs against actuals and revise recommendations ahead of the OP2 submission. You close the day coordinating a 1P FC launch playbook with network design and partners, quantifying CX and cost impact for senior leadership. High visibility role requires all encompassing view of supply chain and ability to multi task on initiatives with conflicting delivery timelines.
