  • Join the Transportation Engineering Systems (TESS) team where you'll directly influence how Amazon's transportation network operates at scale. As a Program Manager on the Transportation Engineering Systems (TESS) team, you will learn how Amazon's proprietary transportation systems make decisions to move packages from the fulfillment network to customers.   • Lessons Learned. A day in the life Your daily execution responsibilities will come via an intake queue which generates work tickets assigned to you. There could be a variety of audit and reporting duties as well. You will review dashboards and metrics that track transportation network performance, identifying opportunities for optimization. Throughout the day, you'll attend or facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams—from operations managers to software engineers—ensuring alignment on priorities and removing roadblocks. You'll work autonomously to solve ambiguous problems, whether that's defining requirements for a new system feature or analyzing why a particular network configuration isn't performing as expected. Your work directly influences decisions about how Amazon moves packages from fulfillment centers to customers' doorsteps.
