Job Summary This job entails writing and maintaining clean, efficient code for various software components while following development best practices. It supports the design and innovation of new applications that align with business goals.

It involves implementing testing frameworks to validate software, documenting development processes for knowledge transfer, and analyzing integration needs. Responsibilities also include collaborating with Quality Assurance to meet technical standards, and troubleshooting to improve performance and user satisfaction.

Job Description Responsibilities · Develop, Maintain & Test the applications using Java, Spring Boot · Develop internal tools and write custom integrations for various applications. · Participate in the development of internal tools to create a unifying data-center operations portal tying together inventory control, systems deployment and configuration management · Lead troubleshooting efforts to find root causes and corrective actions throughout the life of a project. · Evaluate new code releases for basic reliability and systems integration support.

Technologies: · Programming Languages: Java/ Spring Boot · Databases: Oracle, MySQL, Postgres. (Anyone) · Application Server: Netty, Tomcat (Anyone) · OS: Unix/ Linux · Messaging Services: Kafka, RabbitMQ - Bonus · DevOps Tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Bonus - Grafana, Prometheus · IDE: IntelliJ, Eclipse · General Knowledge: Basic networking knowledge and concepts to troubleshoot: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL, VMWare, OpenStack, Experience with either Jira or Rally.

Requirements · Strong presentation and communication skills to explain system designs and technologies to the onshore development team. · 3+ years of experience in application development on Java · Experience working with Web Servers. · Experience with SQL Tables, Views, Triggers etc. · Proficiency in writing including but not limited to SQL Queries, Procedures, Functions. - Bonus · Knowledge of Unix/ Linux environments. · Experience with AWS Services - Bonus · Experience with CI/CD methodologies. · Knowledge & experience with Containers like Docker etc. - Bonus · Excellent analytical skills to reach to the bottom of any issue throughout the life of a project. · Experience gathering requirements and supporting advanced software development teams in an agile environment. · Ability to plan, organise and document complex system designs. · Understanding how to scale applications depending on load. · Ability to collaborate with peers and stakeholders around system designs · High attention to detail and strong ability to problem solve systems issues. · Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, Multicast, Unicast, OSI). · Willing to take ownership of problems and independently drive them to resolution. · Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and handle multiple priorities. · Comfortable working in a fast paced agile environment.
