Load Security & Accuracy: Take full responsibility to secure your own load, know exactly what cargo you are hauling, and review deliveries for accuracy against manifests and customer invoices. Loading & Unloading: Load and unload deliveries using a pallet jack or manual handling, ensuring all items are protected from damage.
Vehicle Maintenance & Care: Keep the assigned truck well-maintained, clean, and washed regularly; perform daily vehicle safety checks and operate company vehicles responsibly in accordance with all traffic laws. Floor Operations: When not driving, actively participate in general warehouse activities, floor operations, and material handling duties.
Receiving & Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, unpack, and store incoming inventory accurately. Conduct regular inventory checks, inspect pallets, and report discrepancies promptly. Shipment Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare items for outgoing shipments.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials efficiently. General Upkeep & Safety: Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, assisting with general maintenance and other warehouse tasks as needed.
What You'll Bring to the Team: Driver's License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (No CDL required). Commercial Driving & Warehouse Experience: Very experienced operating box trucks or commercial delivery vehicles, with a strong background in both driving and warehouse environments.
Education Level: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Cargo Mastery: Demonstrated ability to independently load, strap, and secure cargo to prevent damage during transit.
Hands-On Versatility: Willingness to load and unload shipments manually or via pallet jack/forklift, and transition seamlessly between driving and warehouse duties. Professional Conduct: Dependable, safety-conscious team player with strong communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
