The role supports delivery of the following functions: Commercials – coordinating workflow inputs for Sourcing and Procurement, as well as contract-related activities Financials – delivering timely and accurate cloud cost allocation and recharge, cloud cost consumption reporting, BAU financial analysis and reporting and supporting productivity reporting Vendor Governance – supporting vendor relationship management by tracking compliance with NAB’s policies and vendor governance frameworks Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements Essential capabilities Cloud cost analysis and reporting (AWS/Azure/GCP) Financial analysis and reporting Procurement/commercial processing and workflow support Strong stakeholder management skills Other capabilities Ability to work across teams and influence outcomes without formal authority Process improvement Experience 14+ years professional experience, ideally in Technology or Banking/Finance Understanding of Cloud infrastructure Demonstrated experience in cost reporting, cost allocations, financial reporting and forecast/variance analysis Experience working with senior stakeholders Qualification requirements Tertiary qualification in Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline Cloud and/or FinOps certification preferred Accounting/Finance qualifications advantageous Key Accountabilities / Decisions Accountable for accurate and timely monthly cloud recharge processing Accountable for accurate and timely cloud cost and consumption reporting Accountable for BAU financial forecast and variance analysis Accountable for productivity and FinOps tracking outputs Accountable for coordination of sourcing and procurement workflow inputs Has independent decision making to investigate and resolve data issues, prepare variance commentary, and escalate anomalies or risks Has shared decision making with Finance on recharge and allocation adjustments Has shared decision making with Finance and service owners on productivity and FinOps reporting Must align with NAB governance, financial processes, sourcing processes and controls Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end production of monthly allocation and recharge files Prepare and distribute monthly cloud cost and consumption reports Perform BAU financial analysis, including actuals versus plan, forecasting support and variance commentary Maintain productivity and FinOps tracking and validation Support sourcing and procurement workflows, including request initiation and approval tracking Work with Finance, service owners and FinOps engineering teams to resolve discrepancies and validate inputs Identify and recommend improvements to reporting, forecasting and recharge processes Key Interfaces T&O Finance Sourcing / Procurement Core Engineering Service Owners FinOps Engineering Key Performance Indicators Monthly cloud recharge completed accurately and on time Cloud cost and consumption reports delivered accurately and on time BAU financial reporting and variance outputs completed accurately and on time Productivity and FinOps tracking maintained within reporting cycles Sourcing and procurement requests progressed within required timeframes Proactively manages risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls, adhere to process and procedures related to role, and escalate events/issues/breaches as identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles) A diverse and inclusive workplace works better for everyone: Our goal is to foster a culture that fills us with pride, rooted in trust and respect.
