A blend of strategy and operational execution, the Strategy & Operations Senior Analyst partners with Renewals Leadership as a trusted advisor, focused on managing the day-to-day operations of our forecasting process and driving enhancements across the motion.
This role requires deep alignment with multiple levels of leaders within the Renewals Business and cross-functional alignment with the Sales and Customer Success organizations. This role supports the weekly forecasting process and is responsible for managing data & processes related to that motion.
This person will leverage data-backed insights to drive improvements to our forecasting tooling end to end, from requirements gathering, to build, to deployment. This individual will be highly detail-oriented and impactful in helping leaders run their business!
We’re looking for highly passionate candidates who have relentless curiosity, a startup mentality, attention to detail, willingness to manage multiple priorities, and ability to deal with ambiguity effectively. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Renewals Strategy & Operations.
Responsibilities Manage the custom forecast hierarchy and tooling across Renewals Own metric definitions and requirements for evaluating forecast performance Continuously improve/automate data refreshes and pipeline necessary to forecast efficiently Monitor performance and adoption of forecasting assets Create executive-level presentations for operating unit and global leadership reviews Partner with the Analytics team and perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools (examples of analyses include customer segmentation, participation, likelihood to churn, etc.) Experience 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in Consulting, Sales Strategy, or Business Operations roles Experience with forecasting, business analysis, process improvement, and data visualization Strong business acumen and stakeholder management Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.) Skills Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling stories Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand and succeed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights Intermediate or better mastery of Snowflake/SQL and Excel/G-sheets Intermediate or better mastery of tools like Gemini and/or Claude Beginner or better mastery of Tableau Working knowledge of Salesforce Flexible schedule, the ability to work with our global Renewals teams in different time zones Unleash Your Potential When you join Salesforce, you’ll be limitless in all areas of your life.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions.

The typical base salary range for this position is $94,000 - $142,300 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $112,900 - $155,200 annually.

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
