Role Summary & Role Description This role is part of the GCS (Global Cyber Security) Access Management operations team, responsible for supporting the implementation, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) platforms.
The role will work closely with engineering, application, and infrastructure teams to support onboarding, integration, and ongoing operations of identity and access management solutions including SSO, MFA, and federation technologies. Responsibilities include: Support day-to-day operations of enterprise SSO and authentication platforms Onboard applications to enterprise SSO using SAML, OIDC, and APIs Troubleshoot authentication, federation, and access-related issues across applications Work as part of the engineering team to resolve operational issues and ensure system stability Collaborate with engineering and application teams to support secure authentication integrations Identify opportunities for automation of repetitive operational tasks Contribute to continuous improvement of team processes and system engineering practices Assist in testing, validation, and rollout of product upgrades in coordination with product and engineering teams Provide input to product management on technical debt, refactoring, and platform improvements Operational Expectations Provide L2 production support for access management platforms (with exposure to L3 activities) Manage incidents, problems, and changes following ITIL best practices Utilize monitoring and observability tools for issue detection and analysis (e.g., Splunk) Manage and track tickets through ServiceNow or equivalent tools Follow defined operational runbooks and escalation procedures Core/Must have skills 4+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, focused on SSO platforms Hands-on experience with SSO products such as ForgeRock,Entra ID or equivalent Strong understanding of authentication protocols such as SAML, OIDC, OAuth, WS-Federation, Radius Experience onboarding and integrating applications with SSO and MFA solutions Knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) concepts Experience working across technical teams to support implementation and issue resolution Experience with directory services such as Azure AD and other LDAP systems Experience with Unix, scripting and automation (Shell, Python, PowerShell, etc.) Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Good to have skills Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace Familiarity with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow and change management tools such as Jira Exposure to FIDO / passwordless authentication Scripting and automation experience Strong communication and collaboration skills Work Schedule Hybrid work model with shift-based coverage aligned to India time (Bangalore / Hyderabad) Keywords (If any) Access Management, SSO, MFA, ForgeRock, Entra ID, Authentication, OAuth, OIDC, SAML Why this role is important to us Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
