We are seeking a Software Development Manager to lead a data engineering team within the Customer Experience Infrastructure (CXI) organization. This leader will build and scale big data platforms, manage engineers building data pipelines and data lakes
- drive the technical vision for the team's data infrastructure. You hire and grow the Data Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers
- Software Development Engineers that build this vision. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering depth in distributed data systems combined with proven people management skills to grow and develop a multi-discipline engineering team. You'll be joining a team that's at the forefront of infrastructure innovation, working on greenfield projects with significant business impact

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience - 7+ years of working directly within engineering teams experience - 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification
- livesite operations - Experience partnering with product or program management teams - Experience with big data technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, Spark, Pig, Hive etc. - Experience managing engineers across multiple disciplines (DE, BIE, and/or SDE)
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams

- product strategy - Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills
