  • Role Overview:

The M&A Integration Manager will own the work that begins the moment a deal signs by turning deal terms into an operating plan and tracking the success metrics associated with the transaction. This role required cross-functional process management between Corporate Development, Legal, Finance, HR, Engineering
  • the acquired company's leadership team
  • is accountable for making sure nothing that was negotiated in the deal gets lost, delayed
  • misapplied during execution.
  • This is a build role. You will design CHAOS' integration playbook, run it on live deals, and refine it over time

Responsibilities

  • Own post-signing integration planning end to end: building and executing the concrete 30/60/100-day plan that turns deal terms into operational reality
  • Serve as the primary point of continuity between the deal team and the business, ensuring integration commitments made during diligence and negotiation are actually delivered
  • Stand up and run cross-functional integration workstreams spanning Finance, People, Legal, IT, Engineering, Supply Chain, Facilities, and more with clear owners, milestones, and escalation paths
  • Track and report integration synergies, cost and revenue, against the assumptions used to justify the deal
  • Identify and manage integration risk, including disputes over deal terms (working capital adjustments, compensation claims) that surface after close
  • Manage post-close resolution of outstanding diligence findings, including contract renegotiation, open source issues, export controls analysis, and other potential areas of business risk
  • Build and maintain the standard integration playbook, templates, and cadence so each subsequent deal executes faster and more effectively
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • 6+ years in M&A integration, corporate development, or a related PMO/transformation role, ideally with direct exposure to post-close execution
  • Track record running multi-workstream plans across Finance, HR, Legal, IT, and other groups with hard deadlines and multiple stakeholders
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity on time-sensitive deals, with the judgment to know when to escalate versus resolve
  • Experience in defense and/or aerospace preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to brief executives concisely and hold leadership accountable to integration commitments
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent experience a plus
