Title: Bridges Lead – WA & SA KBR is seeking an accomplished Bridges Lead to establish, grow and lead our Bridges & Structures capability across Western Australia and South Australia . This is a strategic leadership role for a recognised bridge engineering expert who combines strong technical capability with proven client engagement, team leadership and business growth experience.
Based in Perth, you will be instrumental in strengthening KBR's presence across the transport infrastructure sector while leveraging our established national bridges capability. Working closely with Operations Leadership, Discipline Managers, Industry Leads and our National Bridges team, you'll drive market growth, lead major pursuits and projects, and build a high-performing local bridges team.
The Opportunity: As the face of KBR's Bridges business across WA and SA, you'll play a pivotal role in: Developing and executing the regional Bridges growth strategy Building and strengthening relationships with key government and contractor clients Leading major transport infrastructure pursuits and projects Growing and mentoring a high-performing bridges team Establishing a sustainable pipeline of bridge rehabilitation, maintenance and replacement work Providing technical leadership across Roads, Rail, Maritime and Aviation sectors Driving collaboration across KBR's national transport and structures capability This role offers the opportunity to influence major infrastructure programs across both states while shaping the future direction of KBR's bridges business in the region What You’ll Bring: You are a respected bridge engineering leader with a strong industry profile and a proven ability to win work, develop teams and deliver complex infrastructure projects.
You'll ideally have: 20+ years' experience in bridge and structural engineering Significant experience delivering major infrastructure projects, including Design & Construct and Alliance environments Strong relationships across WA and/or SA transport agencies and contracting organisations Demonstrated success in business development, client engagement and work winning Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring engineers Bachelor of Civil or Structural Engineering CPEng (or working towards accreditation) highly regarded Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills A passion for technical excellence, innovation and team development Why Join Us?
