Description Integrated Components Division , part of Resource Industries segment , designs and manufactures quality wear and maintenance components which exceed Caterpillar customer's expectations, such as: Fluids & Filters, Hose & Couplings, and Seals, Tubes & Hardware.

As the Human Resources Manager for our manufacturing facility Goldsboro, NC, you will have an exciting opportunity to make a difference for Caterpillar people – employees, leaders and the communities within which we live and work – by partnering with facility operations leadership to deliver strategic goals supporting our people

What You Will Do

  • Responsible for end-to-end people strategy and implementation.
  • Partner with operations leadership to deliver strategic people goals.
  • Actively participate on the facility leadership team, ensuring the focus on safety and people as integral to the strategy.
  • Lead efforts to achieve a positive Caterpillar Experience for all employees.
  • Provide direction and guidance on HR policies and procedures and advise leaders on interpretation and application to ensure consistency.
  • Provide solutions to attract, develop and retain talent.
  • Lead local administration of employment practices, compliance, training.
  • Lead and coach HR assistant.

  • Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes

  • Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
  • Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business
  • ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Work Schedule Flexibility: Ability to flex work schedule both early and late as necessary to support multiple shift operation.
  • Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • What Will Set You Apart: HR Certification.
  • Strong understanding of HR Policies, compliance requirements, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with leadership to deliver people and/or business strategies and initiatives to build Lean culture and create a positive Caterpillar experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to deal with sensitive issues, develop others, or persuade others inside and outside the organization to take specific actions.
  • Additional Details Minimum travel is expected, less than 10% Summary Pay Range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
  • Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar
