We Deliver – Together. The Opportunity: Join our team and play a key role in strengthening Australia's sovereign industrial capability. As an Industry Development Coordinator, you'll work with Defence, industry partners and suppliers to support Australian Industry Capability (AIC) commitments, enhance supply chain resilience, and drive industry engagement across critical Defence programs.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity and must be based in Sydney . The successful candidate must hold a Baseline security clearance or higher

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of Australian Industry Capability (AIC), Sovereign Sustainment and Supply Chain Industry Development initiatives.
  • Coordinate industry engagement activities, including supply chain forums, workshops and stakeholder meetings.
  • Monitor and report on AIC commitments, Australian Content and Employment (ACE) obligations, and supply chain performance.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, industry partners and government stakeholders.
  • Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting to support contractual compliance and governance requirements.
  • Contribute to governance reviews, reporting and initiatives that strengthen sovereign capability and supply chain resilience.
  • As the ideal candidate you will bring: A diploma or tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business, Commerce, Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within Defence, Government or another complex regulated industry.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple organisations.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, forums, workshops or industry engagement activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, monitor performance and support informed decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organisational and coordination abilities.
  • Desirable Experience in governance, compliance, contract management or continuous improvement is highly regarded.
  • All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance.
