In This Role, You Will
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines Design, code, test, debug
- document for projects and programs Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment
- technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team
- external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals Lead projects, teams
- serve as a peer mentor Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 5+ years of Java/J2EE experience 5+ years of experience with Spring Framework 5+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using open source technologies such as Microservices and Rest API’s 3+ years of experience with Event Drive Messaging technologies including IBM MQ and Apache Kafka 3+ years of experience with any Relational Database or Non-Relational Database 3+ years' experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), Unit Testing, integration testing, API testing, Performance Testing
- Functional testing 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise level applications at scale in production 1+ years of experience with Cloud technologies including Azure, Open Shift, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes or Docker Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or engineering Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and/or Kanban Familiarity with Event driven architecture 3+ years working with configuration and monitoring technologies such as Ansible, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk, Prometheus, Github, Maven Job Expectations: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship This position requires a hybrid in office work schedule Job Location: 3075 Loyalty Cir - Columbus, Ohio 43219 Pay Range Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
- Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location.
