  • Our New Verticals Strategy & Operations team is re-inventing the way consumers think about grocery, convenience, alcohol and retail delivery through both our first-party and third-party operations businesses. DashMart is our first-party offering which serves as a fulfillment platform for DoorDash customers when they need essential items in a hurry – including groceries, household essentials, local favorites and so much more. We have sites all over the country and are expanding the selection we carry and services we offer our customers today!
  • About the Role
  • We are hiring two Senior Associates within our DashMart Strategy & Operations team to contribute to several different growth initiatives across the platform. You’ll identify opportunities to increase volume and customer engagement via platform level initiatives, category growth levers, pricing, promotions, quality
  • merchandising initiatives with the goal of increasing consumer volume within the DashMart offerings. You’ll work closely with Category Management, Product, Marketing, Finance, CRM
  • Strategy & Operations partner by leading cross-functional initiatives, conduct deep-dive analyses
  • help shape DashMart’s growth strategy while delivering measurable business results. You’ll be considered for two roles throughout the interview process and we align based on role fit

  • This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations
  • product. The best operators today are rapidly prototyping ideas, building mocks for user research, putting together product visions
  • synthesizing complex analyses — all with the leverage of AI tools. We expect this person to stay at the forefront of how AI is reshaping the work, actively exploring new tools, automating repetitive workflows
  • finding ways to do in hours what used to take weeks. The scope of this role will continue to evolve as AI tools become more powerful and accessible

  • We operate in a hybrid model and spend a few days a month in person together in-office and at team offsites! All employees that work on DashMart spend some time visiting DashMarts as well to understand the operation.

  • Strategize. From first principles, you’ll develop the optimal strategy for best serving our customers and categories.
  • Operate . Own tracking dashboards and manage week over week metrics to drive high quality operations.
  • Analyze . Build models using Excel and SQL to evaluate the economic, operational and strategic costs and benefits of various programs and experiments — and increasingly, use AI to accelerate and deepen that analysis.
  • Experiment. You’ll transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes
  • Build with AI . You'll use AI tools to rapidly prototype consumer-facing ideas, create mocks for user research sessions, synthesize qualitative Cx feedback at scale
  • develop product visions — compressing what used to require weeks and multiple teams into a single afternoon. You'll be expected to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI in your day-to-day work

  • You have a completed Bachelor’s Degree ideally in business management, economics, finance, marketing or a related Business field.
  • Compensation
  • The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location
  • market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
  • In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week
  • about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week
  • about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
  • The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.
  • $87,000 — $128,000 USD
