  • Commissioning to build Data Centers that directly support our Customers. As our Data Center Project Engineer, you will support the teams that build some of the most interesting electrical and mechanical systems in the world. You will be on the construction site, daily interacting with the construction managers and stakeholders and be directly responsible for supporting the fast, high-quality delivery of our data center construction. The Data Center Project Engineer will be part of the onsite Construction Management team and will own the communication coordination with our vendors, information workflow
  • coordination of document management including requests for information (RFI), change orders, report
  • schedule updates.   • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering
  • a related field - Experience in vendor management - Experience in a data center or other critical environment - Experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word
  • Excel - 3+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.) experience - Experience in construction or project management
  • Knowledge of electrical systems in critical Data Center operations that include but are not limited to utility substation feeds, transformers, switchgear, VFI Class UPS, DRUPS, PDUs, ATS, STS, SLA/VRLA batteries and associated systems, diesel/gas turbine generators and related fuel systems, Surge Suppression, Active Harmonic Filtering, battery monitoring systems, branch circuit monitoring systems or SCADA systems - 4+ years of construction or project management experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability
