Director, Agentic AI Solutions – US Market Access Overview This strategic, consultative role leads the US Market Access AI and Agentic AI program - shaping strategy, prioritizing mid‑to‑large AI initiatives, coordinating delivery with Tech and external partners, and driving organizational adoption through change management and stakeholder consulting.
The Director is the Market Access subject matter expert (SME) for Agentic AI concepts and is accountable for translating business priorities into an aligned portfolio of projects, executable plans, and measurable benefit. This role is responsible for identifying high-value use cases, building a scalable AI product portfolio, and delivering measurable business impact through intelligent automation and decision augmentation.
Key relationships, deliverables & principal responsibilities Serve as Market Access SME and program owner for the Agentic AI program of work; translate US Market Access strategy into a prioritized roadmap and portfolio of mid‑to‑large AI initiatives (Tech and vendors build solutions; this role leads strategy, prioritization, and adoption).
Partner with Market Access leadership, Access Optimization, Operations, Compliance, Legal, Privacy, Tech delivery, and external vendors/consultants to align priorities and secure sponsorship. Define and maintain the Agentic AI vision, roadmap, governance model, and operating cadence (program governance forums, intake, prioritization, interdependency management).
Lead business case and ROI development for prioritized projects; own benefits realization plans and executive reporting for value tracking. Coordinate delivery with Tech and third‑party vendors: translate business requirements into clear delivery briefs, manage scope/timeline/quality expectations, and escalate risks or blockers.
Design and execute change management and adoption strategies (communications, role redesign, training curricula, pilot-to-scale playbooks) to drive sustained behavioral change and measurable utilization. Establish success criteria, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor program health, adoption, and impact on efficiency.
Oversee risk, compliance, and ethical considerations for autonomous AI solutions; partner with Legal, Privacy, Governance and Compliance to embed controls approved data use cases. Lead pilot evaluation and continuous improvement cycles: assess outcomes, capture learnings, iterate, and scale proven solutions across US Market Access.
Select and govern vendors and external partners; ensure procurement, contracting, SLAs, and performance management support program goals. Build Market Access AI literacy and capability through workshops, playbooks, and stakeholder consulting—advocate for Agentic AI where it delivers strategic advantage.
How Success Is Measured Percentage of prioritized projects delivered on scope and schedule in partnership with Tech Adoption metrics (active users, utilization rates) and demonstrated workflow changes Measured impact on project outcomes, efficiency gains, or cost/ time savings against business cases Effective risk management and Compliance including favorable audit outcomes.
Stakeholder satisfaction and alignment across Market Access and Commercial leadership Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in digital transformation, data science or portfolio/product management within US Market Access functions in a Bio Pharma company; OR 5+ years in management consulting with client delivery experience.
Demonstrated experience engaging with AI/LLM solutions and applying AI/GenAI concepts in Commercial and/or Market Access contexts (e.g., use case development, vendor/architecture discussions, evaluation criteria, integrations with industrial data fabrics), with ability to assess feasibility, risks, and business impact without hands-on model development.
Demonstrated experience coordinating delivery with Tech teams and third‑party vendors on AI or analytics projects with a proven track record in change management, stakeholder engagement, influencing senior stakeholders and driving AI adoption
