You will be a part of the global BIM and technology team responsible for implementing, managing
- adopting new BIM technologies and systems to support the design, construction
- operation of Amazon-owned data center facilities. You will be responsible for administering and implementing new BIM systems. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of such tools and propose process improvements. You will work with BIM stakeholders to collect requirements and coordinate development with the engineering team. Key job responsibilities You must be able to work independently and with your team to complete tasks on time and without error. This includes working with internal teams as well as external suppliers, consultants, manufacturers, vendors
- contractors. Your will: - Administer BIM Common Data Environments, such as Forma (former Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360)
- other technology solutions. - Use technology to design, develop, deploy, test
- maintain BIM solutions. - Produce comprehensive, usable BIM systems documentation. - Evangelize, educate
- support primary design technology applications. - Contribute to the development of technical solutions, programs
- scripts that use BIM API and SDK such as Revit and Autodesk Platform Services. - Coordinate information management, smart object metadata and classification codes with asset information databases. - Perform BIM data QA/QC and analysis. - Provide BIM technical support to project teams. - Assist with establishing and maintaining BIM standards, processes
- workflows across regions. - Educate and train internal and external teams in BIM software, procedure
- best practices. A day in the life A typical day involves administering Autodesk Construction Cloud—managing projects, permissions
- the Common Data Environment. You develop automation scripts using Revit API and Autodesk Platform Services, then run QA/QC checks on model data and metadata. You also train internal and external teams on BIM standards, provide technical support
- update documentation. Throughout the day, you collaborate independently and cross-functionally with designers, suppliers
- contractors to deliver error-free results on schedule. - Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.) - 2+ years of using BIM API and SDKs. - Min. 3+ years of relevant professional experience in BMS
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction
- related STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) field. - Experience working with BIM integrations and third-party APIs like Autodesk Platform Services. - Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning
- Generative AI. - Experience using SQL, data
- metrics to determine and drive BIM program and process improvements. - Passion for learning new technologies, frameworks and programming languages.
