- Education and Work Experience Requirements: This section is used to describe what knowledge, skills and abilities are required to perform the daily tasks · B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field with 5 - 7 years of experience in SW testing and Test Development · Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers both in English.· Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Tasks / Responsibilities:Will be responsible for test framework development, test methodology, writing testcases, test execution and reports for embedded solutions for Linux systems.Documentation and archiving of work products according to defined processes (e.g., agile methods) using standardized toolsTrain and consult the test engineers to use the test infrastructureOn-time delivery of (preferably automated) SW and test environmentsThis role also involves direct interaction in a customer-facing capacity and requires active collaboration as part of our global testing teamExpected skill set:· 5 - 7 years of experience in Test Development and SW testing· Proven track record in testing embedded Linux systems and software-hardware integration tests.· Solid experience with test automation frameworks and tools.· · Experience in preparing test plan and deploying it· Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.· Experience with debugging and profiling embedded software during testing.· Ability to perform Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tests and troubleshoot integration issues.· Experience and know how in Linux - especially with scripting· Basic understanding of embedded C/C++ programming for test development. · Scripting – Python, Linux Shell scripting, Windows power shell· Experience in working within agile teams and contributing to agile processes.· Fluent communication in English, both written and verbal and ability to effectively communicate technical conceptsGood to Have skills:· Advantage skills: Extended knowledge on CI systems Jenkins/Bamboo usage · Preferable: Knowledge of Linux IPC mechanisms (DBus/CommonAPI, Web Sockets),· Preferable: Knowledge of V model and different levels of tests
- · Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with the ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows
