Job Description

Job Summary: Entry-level assembler responsible for performing electro-mechanical assembly tasks, quality checks, and basic production support on one or more product lines under supervision. Job Duties: Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Perform assembly on one or more product lines Perform electro-mechanical assembly using small hand tools and measuring devices Read, interpret, and follow assembly instructions (AI), drawings, and job tickets Execute tasks with supervision and follow product staging area procedures Compliance with any ESD requirements on the production line you’re working on Compliance with and driver of 5S practices.

Keeps work cell and areas of responsibility clean, organized, free of clutter, and free of hazards. Complete quality checks, identify quality concerns, and report them to leadership Perform final product testing according to the applicable Test Instruction (TI) for that product Report any discrepancies between the work instructions (AI or TI) and the actual work being done to your supervisor Pull raw materials according to the kanban inventory process Hang kanban cards on kanban boards as necessary Identify and report safety concerns Absolute compliance with PPE policy Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor Job Qualifications English reading and writing ability English speaking and comprehension proficiency Understands how to read and interpret Bills of Material (BOM) Basic assembly skills and attention to detail Limited troubleshooting capability Soldering experience (preferred, but not required) Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Ability to stoop, twist, kneel and reach as required for assembly tasks Ability to use hands and fingers for fine motor tasks including gripping, pinching, and manipulating small components Ability to lift, push, or pull materials or equipment up to 40 lbs.

Must be able to occasionally lift heavier items with assistance or lifting devices Steady hand-eye coordination for small part assembly, soldering, wiring, measuring, or use of hand/power tools Ability to read fine print and perform close-vision inspection or assembly tasks with accuracy Ability to work in an environment with varying temperature, moderate noise, and occasional exposure to chemicals, adhesives, or potting compounds (proper PPE provided) Ability to remain alert and focused throughout repetitive or detailed tasks Ability to meet required production pace and cycle times Ability to wear PPE including safety glasses, gloves, ESD coats, and clean-room attire (hair net, bunny-suit, mask, etc.) as required Equal Opportunity Employer Statement & Disclaimer ITW is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
