Position Summary The Manager, AI Solutions plays a critical role in supporting the capture and proposal lifecycle for Medicaid managed care and other healthcare lines of business.

This high‑impact role is responsible for driving the integration, governance, and day‑to‑day use of artificial intelligence (AI), agentic AI, generative AI, automation, and deterministic tools across the end‑to‑end proposal response workflow.

This role designs and executes the technical strategy and operational approach for AI‑driven solutions to help teams produce high‑quality, compliant, and compelling proposals more efficiently. The role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and vendors to promote adoption, deliver training, and continuously improve automation workflows that enhance efficiency, compliance, quality, and team performance.

In this role, the Manager, AI Solutions has extensive experience across multiple generative and agentic AI platforms, including at a minimum, Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio. Additionally, this role requires extensive experience in prompt engineering, context window engineering, prompt engineering, and markup language, with the ability to create complex agents, multi-agent orchestration, and automation solutions.

The right candidate is highly accountable, detail‑oriented, and process‑driven, yet flexible enough to pivot as priorities shift. They are a curious, self‑motivated problem solver who builds strong relationships across all levels of the organization and is willing to support extended hours (including nights and weekends as needed) during critical proposal timeframes.

Key Responsibilities AI-Driven Proposal Automation : Lead the configuration and optimization of proposal automation tools to streamline proposal responses. Integrate models and workflows to enhance content analysis, readability, and compliance scoring.

Content Intelligence and Knowledge Management : Collaborate with content management and capture teams to develop and maintain AI-enhanced content and competitive intelligence libraries. Collaboration and Enablement : Partner with proposal team members and Subject Matter Experts to align technology with healthcare specific requirements.

Collaborate with the Operations Manager to design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs that reflect best practices for integrating automation tools into proposal workflows. Project Management : Tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.

Serve as a point of contact for user questions and troubleshooting related to automation tools. Promote adoption through job aids, office hours, and feedback loops that support continuous learning and tool optimization Compliance and Quality Assurance : Use technology to automate compliance checks and readability.

Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience applying generative and agentic AI concepts, including designing and deploying agents, orchestrating multi-agent workflows, building automation pipelines, and executing advanced prompt and context window engineering with strong emphasis on data provenance, grounding, and real-world implementation at scale. 3+ years of experience in Medicaid Managed Care, with a strong understanding of state-specific requirements and procurement processes. 5+ years of experience supporting healthcare proposal development, with a focus on content management, process optimization, and compliance.

Demonstrated expertise in proposal automation, including the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of tools, templates, and workflows that streamline proposal development. Deep knowledge and expertise in fundamental and advanced generative and agentic AI concepts and methodologies.

Extensive knowledge and expertise in prompt engineering, context window engineering, agent orchestration, computer use models, tool use, skill creation, Power Automate, and automation. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

Proven project management capabilities, with a track record of driving initiatives from concept to execution while meeting key milestones. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical or research-based content into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.

Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, with a natural curiosity and a drive to improve processes, tools, and team efficiency. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams, including proposal managers, SMEs, and IT stakeholders.

Advanced expertise in Microsoft Word, including styles, document structure, Track Changes collaboration, cross-references, and TOCs, with the ability to produce producing fully structured, enterprise-ready documents. Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel including dynamic formula, tables, and PivotTables, enabling scalable analysis, automation, and dashboarding.

Advanced expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, including slide design, custom layouts, data-linked visuals, animations, accessibility (alt-text), and template governance, delivering polished, executive-level presentations. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in a proposal development environment, with a strong preference for experience in Medicaid Managed Care or other government-funded healthcare programs.

Demonstrated excellence in time and task management, with the ability to prioritize effectively and maintain focus in high-pressure, deadline-driven settings. Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including proposal managers, content developers, IT, and business stakeholders.

Naturally curious and self-driven, with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for solving complex process and technology challenges. Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) certification(s) or equivalent industry-recognized credentials in proposal or capture management.

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $75,400.00 - $165,954.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program. Our people fuel our future.
