The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals.

In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes The Senior Manager, End-to-End Planning, Spine will lead the Spine end-to-end planning organization and govern planning decisions that balance customer service, cost, inventory, capacity, and supply risk across global supply chains.
This role is accountable for driving disciplined planning execution, strengthening IBP/S&OP integration, and enabling business trade-off decisions that support service, growth, and operational performance. This is an exciting opportunity to shape planning strategy for a critical MedTech platform, influence global supply chain decisions, lead a high-performing planning team, and partner with senior leaders across commercial, finance, manufacturing, quality, regional supply chain, and product management.
The leader in this role will help improve supply reliability, inventory health, NPI readiness, scenario planning, and executive decision-making across the Spine portfolio
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Spine end-to-end planning strategy and operating cadence across demand, supply, inventory, service, capacity, and supply risk.
- Govern planning methods, parameters, segmentation, tolerances, alerts, escalation thresholds, and critical decision processes across the global planning network.
- Drive inventory strategy, replenishment approach, decoupling points, safety stock, lead times, make frequencies, minimum order quantities, and other planning assumptions in partnership with site and regional teams.
- Lead exception-based and scenario-based planning to resolve demand, supply, inventory, and capacity imbalances while balancing customer service, cost, risk, and inventory exposure.
- Represent Global Planning in S&OP/IBP forums and frame risks, opportunities, assumptions, trade-offs, and recommendations for senior leadership decision-making.
- Lead supply risk management, smart alert review, service impact assessment, mitigation planning, and escalation of business-critical issues across the global network.
- Drive planning readiness for new product introductions, lifecycle changes, regional launches, regulatory transitions, and supply network changes.
- Own planning performance management across OTIF, CBO, plan attainment, forecast accuracy, inventory days of supply, SLOB, backorder reduction, and supply commit adherence.
- Lead, coach, and develop End-to-End Planning Managers and/or Analysts while building an inclusive, high-performing team with clear goals, accountability, and development plans.
- QUALIFICATIONS Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
- An advanced degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business, or a related discipline is preferred.
- EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Required
- A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive supply chain planning, operations, or related business experience is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of people leadership, matrix leadership, or equivalent leadership experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience leading demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, S&OP/IBP, scenario planning, and cross-functional business trade-off decisions is required.
- Experience working across organizational boundaries in a global, matrixed environment is required.
- Advanced knowledge of ERP and advanced planning systems, including SAP, APO, OMP, or equivalent planning platforms, is required.
- Strong scenario planning, analytical, digital, and visualization capability, including Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or equivalent tools, is required.
- Proven business acumen across end-to-end supply chain, commercial priorities, financial trade-offs, inventory strategy, and executive-level communication is required
Preferred
- Experience supporting medical device, regulated manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, or other complex global supply chain environments is preferred.
- Experience leading planning transformation, digital planning adoption, process standardization, or advanced planning system implementation is preferred.
- Experience with new product introduction planning, lifecycle management, portfolio transitions, regulatory transitions, or supply network changes is preferred.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex supply chain constraints into clear business options, trade-offs, and recommended decisions.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders across commercial, finance, manufacturing, quality, procurement, regional supply chain, and product management teams.
- Supply chain certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent credentials are preferred.
- OTHER: English proficiency is required; additional language capabilities may be beneficial based on global stakeholder support needs.
- This position may require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel.
- Relevant supply chain, planning, Lean Six Sigma, APICS CPIM, APICS CSCP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
