This job is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the job include delivering complex features and technology, enabling development efficiencies, providing technical thought leadership based on conducting multiple software implementations, and applying both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. Additionally, this job is accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery. This role is responsible for defining and leading the engineering approach for complex features to deliver significant business outcomes. Key responsibilities of the role include delivering complex features and technology enablers that improve development efficiencies. They provide technical thought leadership based on the significant experience they have built through multiple software implementations and have developed both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies. The individuals in this role can also lead and be accountable for end-to-end solution design and delivery (this is based on the scale of implementation and skillsets required) Responsibilities: Ensures that the design and engineering approach for complex features are consistent with the larger portfolio solution Define the technology tool stack for the solution and evaluate and adapt new testing tool/framework/practices for team(s) Enables team(s)/applications with Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) capabilities and engages with other technical stakeholders pertaining to efficient functioning of CI-CD pipeline Guides and influences team(s) on design and best practices for high code performance –e.g. pairing, code reviews Provides end-to-end delivery of complex features, including automation, for either a single team or multiple teams, at the program level Conducts research, design prototyping and other exploration activities such as evaluating new toolsets and components for release management, CI/CD, and features Works with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and with architects for technical requirements see position summary required/desired qualifications Support/mentor/coach team(s) on design and best practices for high code performance – e.g. pairing, code reviews Constantly seek better ways of solving technical problems and designing the solution, not afraid of challenging the status quo Create frameworks, interfaces and complex components for team(s) to utilize and develop Contribute to test strategy creation and automation of test suites for team(s)
• Drive test strategy adherence across team(s) Accountable for end-to-end delivery of complex features, including automation, for either a single team or multiple teams, at the program level Work with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and with architects for technical requirements Lead the technical oversight for teams in solution development Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in platform, systems, or infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on automation and integration
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering automated Windows or Linux Server OS provisioning for on‑prem or internal cloud environments
• Strong Windows or Linux Server administration expertise (OS configuration, patching, roles/features, networking, storage, and security)
• Proficiency in PowerShel, shell scripting and Python, with experience building maintainable automation tools and workflows
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible or similar), and scripting with Python or equivalent
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, validation, and deployments
• Experience integrating provisioning workflows with platform services such as virtualization, networking, identity, monitoring, and configuration management systems
