We are excited to be hiring a senior leader to oversee UX strategy and efforts for our Audit, Legal, and Investigations businesses and to provide regional leadership for UX staff in India. We require a dynamic, confident, and experienced leader who is capable of partnering with senior business leaders, collaborating closely with engineering, and motivating and inspiring their UX team to create intuitive and innovative experiences for our users.
Candidates should be seasoned UX professionals with an excellent hands-on skillset. They should also have a strong understanding of Generative AI and ideally be practiced in creating experiences or prototypes using these technologies
Responsibilities
- Lead a UX team, managing multiple major or complex projects from start to completion, with overall responsibility for delivery Build and develop a high-quality team, coaching and developing team leads and senior designers Work as a highly effective manager providing guidance and opportunities for junior managers and staff to grow and thrive Apply a formalised UX research and design process for the team, ensuring delivery of high quality, repeatable results Use metrics and data to support decision-making, guiding tech partners where needed to add necessary metrics Work closely with users, stakeholders, business analysts, product managers and development teams to brainstorm and co-create ideas, approaches, and solutions.
- Acts as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, "shifting left"
- providing expert guidance on product strategy and design Create wireframes, prototypes
- high-fidelity designs Perform various flavors of testing to validate and inform design decisions Provide development teams with high quality assets, handover
- ongoing guidance to ensure they have all they need to implement your designs, with regular UX review checkpoints as needed.
- Regular, transparent communication of status and metrics to management and stakeholders Continuous seeking of opportunities to make improvements to team efficiency and process Keep up to date with the latest UX and AI practices, innovations
- tools Ensure designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibility Deliver on-time, identifying and managing risks to ensure timelines are met

- provide constructive feedback, coaching and guidance to resolve Promote the value of UX within the wider organization Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices

Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant experience 4+ years successfully leading design teams Proven time and project management skills Significant experience working with senior clients, stakeholders
