Truist has 'in office' requirements that must be honored. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.

Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software components and services that address defined business and user requirements within an assigned technical domain. 2. Implements well-scoped features and enhancements using established coding standards, architectural patterns, and development best practices. 3.

Contributes to the reliability, scalability, and performance of applications by writing high-quality, maintainable code and participating in peer code reviews. 4. Collaborates with cross-functional technical teams to execute planned technical initiatives and deliver solutions on schedule. 5.

Troubleshoots, debugs, and resolves software defects and production issues within area of responsibility, applying root-cause analysis as needed. 6. Participates in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements refinement, design discussions, development, testing, deployment, and support. 7.

Applies secure coding practices, testing strategies, and documentation standards to ensure software quality and compliance with team guidelines. 8. Leverages existing frameworks, tools, and technologies to build and enhance applications across relevant technology domains.

Qualifications Required Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1.

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience. 2. In-depth knowledge of information systems with the ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices. 3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function.

Preferred Qualifications 1. Minimum of 1-3 years of direct experience in Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies. 2. Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with container creation and support. 3. Proficient in application deployment strategies on Kubernetes/OpenShift. 4.

Expert in authoring CI/CD pipelines, preferably using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD. 5. Comfort with Helm, able to write and modify existing Helm charts and their values files 6. Deep understanding of Kubernetes/OpenShift objects (Pods, Services, Deployments, ConfigMaps, Secrets, etc.) and appropriate use cases. 7.

In-depth knowledge of Security Context Constraints (SCCs) and their implementation. 8. Experience in managing applications on multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters. 9. Comfortable with editing and scripting YAML/JSON configurations. 10. Expertise in ensuring high availability of applications within Kubernetes. 11.

Familiarity with Kubernetes-native storage solutions (e.g., Persistent Volumes, CSI drivers). 12. Intermediate level understanding of how to build container images from enterprise environments. 13. Intermediate development skills for debugging purposes to distinguish between application and infrastructure issues. 14.

Comfort working in a highly secured enterprise environment. 15. Service accounts, bastion hosts and other processes will be part of daily life. 16. Experience working with Skopeo / Podman for image management. 17. Experience with monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, OpenTelemetry, etc.

Application right-sizing. 18. Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd for microservices management. 19. Understanding of network policies and ingress controllers in Kubernetes and routes on OpenShift. 20. Comfortable working with APIs. 21.

Experience using AI to generate initial drafts of Kubernetes YAMLs, Dockerfiles, CICD Pipelines, documentation, and other deliverables. 22. Also, an eye for noticing when other use it to check they have done their due diligence. 22. Skills in container runtime environments like Docker or CRI-O. 23.

Familiarity with cloud provider Kubernetes services (AWS EKS, Google GKE, Azure AKS). 24. AWS Application on-boarding experience (EKS, ECS specifically) 25.
