Job Summary The Sr. Director, HR Communications plays a key role in developing and delivering impactful communications for internal audiences that support HR programs across our company with a focus on benefits, talent, and learning. Reporting to the AVP, HR Communications, this role partners closely with HR and business leaders to inform, engage, and inspire employees while reinforcing the value of working at Comcast.

This role leads communications strategy and execution for complex, enterprise HR initiatives - including skills-based learning, talent initiatives, and benefits priorities like Open Enrollment - translating business priorities into clear, compelling narratives and high-impact communications plans.

In addition to driving end-to-end delivery, the Sr. Director serves as a strategic advisor to senior HR leadership, shaping messaging and communications approaches that support transformation efforts, strengthen employee understanding, and drive action.

This role requires strong judgment, influence, and the ability to navigate a complex, matrixed organization. Job Description Core Responsibilities Partners with the AVP, HR Communications to shape and operationalize the overall HR communications strategy, ensuring alignment across initiatives, channels, and audiences.

Serves as a strategic advisor to senior HR leadership, shaping narratives and communications approaches for enterprise HR priorities and transformation efforts – including high-priority initiatives like talent management, performance management and benefits open enrollment .

Owns the end- to -end process of creating and implementing integrated communications strategies that support HR and business priorities, including positioning, identifying key messag es , channel strategy, KPIs and key metrics, and executing flawlessly.

Utilizing change-management practices to drive awareness, understanding and action , including stakeholder identification, understanding impact by audience, and utilizing change best -practices . Partners with senior HR leaders (Talent and Learning and Total Rewards ) to shape and support team meetings, town halls, and other leadership engagements— advising on messaging, structure, and delivery to drive clarity, alignment, and impact .

Leads and mentors a high -performing team, strengthening capabilities in strategic communications, executive messaging, and change communications while setting clear standards for quality and impact. Defines success metrics tied to business and employee outcomes; uses insights to refine strategies, advise stakeholders, and continuously improve effectiveness .

Partners across enterprise communications teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and amplification of HR messaging. Builds relationships to facilitate strong feedback loops among these partners. Identifies and applies AI-driven tools and innovative approaches to scale content development, personalize employee experiences, and enhance communications impact.

Anticipates risks and opportunities, proactively bringing solutions and innovative approaches to improve communications effectiveness. Manages external partners and vendors to support delivery, scale, and innovation. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in internal communications or a related field Ability to work within a fast paced, deadline-driven environment Ability to exercise decision making and work independently Ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong professional demeanor and comfort interacting with senior executives across the organization and external contacts Ability to manage team members, vendors, and align people and projects to key business prioritie s Understanding and interest in AI technology and the applications to communications.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required Strong proficiency with business management software (SharePoint, Smartsheet, etc.) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across formats and audiences. Strong business acumen and understanding of HR functions and employee engagement. Experience in the development, launch, and support of digital tools. Based in Philadelphia.
