We assess risk, classify data and systems, scale adoption through automation and enable the business to guard the confidentiality and integrity of Amazon and customer data while creating a seamless experience for our stakeholders. This team dives deep into security technologies and continuously raises the security bar across Amazon by tackling complex problems that require widespread support and multi-year execution plans. Amazon Stores Security is looking for a Data Protection Specialist to work across Regulation Tech and Assurance and our broader Stores Security organization to translate policy and control requirements for technology consumption, identify additional capabilities to scale coverage, deploy governance models and validate intended outcomes are achieved. This role is foundational to support cross-functional initiatives to integrate data protection into tools and processes and reduce the burden of compliance with novel solutions while maintaining customer trust. In this Data Protection Specialist role, you will work with cross-functional teams of technical and non-technical key stakeholders to define and operationalize strategy and interpret, communicate, and drive full lifecycle security projects. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics
