A Day in the Life Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Leads and coaches a team of strategic/enterprise account senior director and directors , building their capability to develop and maintain Senior/C-Suite & D-Suite level relationships with strategic partners and to identify and qualify new business opportunities; personally serves as Executive Sponsor for a select portfolio of the organization's highest-level strategic accounts, engaging directly at the C-suite to reinforce the partnership, resolve escalations, and open doors the team cannot open alone.

Guides and holds the team accountable for portfolio management strategy in collaboration with the Business Units to expand and protect market share, optimize pricing strategy, and build long-term contractual agreements and relationships with clients and strategic partners, applying a solid understanding of healthcare market dynamics and economics to inform pricing and contracting decisions; reviews, coaches to, and approves major account plans and key contractual commitments.

Coaches account leaders to build a deep understanding of each assigned account's strategic priorities, grounded in a solid understanding of the healthcare market and economics, and to design appropriate value-added programs for each account; personally engages on executive-sponsored accounts to validate and stress-test account strategy at the senior-relationship level.

Sets direction for and oversees the development, communication, and execution of business plans across the team to achieve strategic target business results, tracking performance against plan and coaching direct reports through course corrections.

Drives the team's identification and development of ongoing mutual opportunities for sales growth with key strategic accounts, and personally cultivates growth opportunities and relationship depth on the accounts where they serve as Executive Sponsor.

Goal achievement is typically accomplished through the performance of direct and/or indirect reports, with direct sales participation reserved for select, high-priority relationships (e.g., Executive Sponsor accounts) as appropriate . Differentiating Factors Autonomy Owns the execution of the overall strategy and the operational direction of a region in accordance with corporate objectives , strategy and plans.

Influences others outside of the sales function regarding policies, practices and procedures. Oversees sales programs for new business and greater account penetration for the key accounts, directing the team's execution while personally sponsoring the most strategic relationships.

Organizational Impact Makes strategic long-term decisions in line with company -wide strategy, which sets the direction of the business region, informed by a solid understanding of healthcare market and economic trends. Influences key sales strategies and operational initiatives and goals.

Has formal budgetary responsibility for the operational business region; manages investment spend. Establishes policies and strategies that have a direct and significant impact on the achievement of overall sales and business development objectives .

Innovation and Complexity Champions innovation across the business region, conceptualizing and creating new business processes. Actively searches for opportunities for standardization. Problems and issues faced are complex, undefined and impact multiple businesses or functions, where information is typically difficult to obtain and extensive investigation to understand the root cause of problems is required .

Communication and Influence Serves as principal spokesperson for the region , broad functional area or geography, making recommendations to leaders and executives regarding strategic initiatives. Acts as Executive Sponsor for designated top-tier strategic accounts, representing the organization at the C-suite level and serving as the senior escalation point for those relationships.

Influences across functions and businesses to negotiate and gain cooperation on divergent objectives . Leadership and Talent Management Leads and manages a region. Ensures effective liaison with other region heads to share knowledge and best practices.

Creates workforce and staffing plans to ensure availability of human capital necessary to accomplish departmental business results. Authorizes hiring, firing, promotion and reward within own area; coaches and mentors key members of the business area/region, developing their ability to independently manage senior-level client relationships over time.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. Requires a Baccalaureate degree (or for degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)( 4)(iii)(A) and minimum of 2 years relevant experience, or advanced degree 0 years prior relevant experience.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$220,000.00 - $224,000.00 This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
