In This Role You Will

  • Build and maintain financials models to assist senior bankers in analyzing growth opportunities for clients Manage the Sponsor portfolio exposure and assess the credit quality and monitor the portfolio on continuous basis, assist in tracking, underwriting, reviews, covenant monitoring activities.
  • Support the US team to assess the proposal for feasibility based on stage of company, sustainability and scalability of the business model Required Qualifications: 2+ years of Securities Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: MBA, CA, CFA or master's in finance from a premier education institute 2+yrs of experience in Credit Underwriting / Credit risk / Credit Rating Strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts Knowledge of database tools – FactSet, Thomson one, Capital IQ, Factiva, Levin Insights, LCD News and Bloomberg Knowledge of VBA, Tableau, Power BI etc. would be an added advantage Strong inclination towards building a career in Fixed Income and Credit domain Good understanding of corporate finance, financial statement, Ratio analysis, cash flow analysis, and ability to create in-depth financial models Impeccable communication and interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with senior professionals and key stakeholders Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office Applications - Power Point and Excel Analyze credit data, financial statements, projections
  • perform internal credit rating
  • and prepare credit assessment memo as per stipulated guidelines and policy Monitoring & tracking financial performance, borrower business model/future strategy, security cover, industry developments and impact of macro-economic events on the overall market for the portfolio of covered client set across industries Understand the nuances of the loan request and identify any inconsistency or associated risks Understand and respond to the queries raised by Credit Risk Director, Portfolio managers , due diligence team, etc.
  • Strong logical, analytical skills and a systematic problem-solving approach Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Attention to detail and ability to ensure high quality of deliverables Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management Results driven, accountable and ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced Banking environment Understanding and Application of AI Tools: Ability to leverage AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Tachyon, Agent space) for routine tasks such as summarizing information, drafting content
