As a Network Development Engineer at Amazon Leo, you will lead the implementation, maintenance
- optimization of mission-critical enterprise networks supporting our manufacturing facilities, research labs, launch sites
- mission operations centers worldwide. You will ensure high availability, performance
- security of network infrastructure across multiple global locations. Key job responsibilities - Deployment and ongoing maintenance of complex network solutions in manufacturing and lab environments - Ensure robust network operations supporting launch and mission activities - Troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, interconnectivity
- performance issues - Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation - Lead capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives - Enhance and manage monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection - Mentor junior engineers on operational best practices and troubleshooting techniques - Drive automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency - Participate in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability for mission-critical operations
- 3+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience - 8+ years of major internet routing protocols experience - 5+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
