- Global Tax Data (GTD) is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join our Tax AI Production Function — a high-impact team responsible for the operational health of Tax's AI solution portfolio. You will take citizen-built AI tools from development environments into production with full operational safeguards and own them operationally. In this role, you will review architectures with original builders, address AI-specific security requirements (threat modeling, prompt injection mitigations, data handling controls), refactor for scalability, create technical documentation
- build a reusable pattern library that accelerates every subsequent solution. You will deploy AI solutions to production infrastructure, configure monitoring and alerting, establish incident response runbooks
- manage security patching. You will onboard new consuming teams and provide operational health reporting. This is a foundational role where you will define the operational standards for Tax's AI portfolio and directly unblock demand from teams waiting to adopt solutions that lack dedicated production ownership today.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing
