  • more About the Role: This role sits within the Portfolio Intelligence program and will own solutions with Core & CNPF partners related to business intelligence & optimization. The VP will own the P&L for solutions related to these verticals, driving innovation directly with key Core & CNPF partners. This role will form part of the Portfolio Intelligence leadership team, contributing to the leadership & culture of the program. The incumbent will be directly responsible for the product roadmap, in conjunction with the VP of Product Development, driving 1-3 year priorities, ensuring direct alignment with vertical partners
  • ensuring appropriate joint investment. The incumbent will be proficient with the product development lifecycle with strong demonstrable experience building products with end users that have scaled in global markets. They will illustrate financial acumen, with demonstrable experience managing a platform-based P&L. Overall o Owns key relationships with Core and CNPF partners, driving alignment on priorities for Portfolio Intelligence
  • EBI in general o Ensures long-term product roadmap is developed and aligned with the VP of Product Development o Owns the P&L for Portfolio Intelligence solutions for Core and CNPF partner solutions o Drives AI adoption and value creation, leading to improved efficiency and quality o Shares accountability for application quality and product delivery productivity with product development & engineering counterparts Strategy Ownership o Identifies Core & CNPF key partners and builds long-term relationships between services and core o Co-develops medium - long-term strategy with key partners

  • achieve commercial goals Product Ownership o Owns the P&L related to Core and CNPF solutions for Portfolio Intelligence o Works directly to unlock end user and customer goals, leveraging value quantification tools to drive customer & frontline education o Drives commercial goals that align with Core, CNPF & Services goals o Builds investment cases to drive high quality long-term revenue growth, at key margin goals o Ensures best practice product iteration, driving ongoing product evolution that meets customers needs Product Development o Works directly with VP of Product Development to define the product roadmap for Core & CNPF products within Portfolio Intelligence o Leverages Portfolio Intelligence capacity to build world-class technology products that solve real-world problems o Adheres strictly to product development principles, ensuring use of the studio framework to develop robust solution Financial Management o Manages and owns the Core and CNPF P&L for Portfolio Intelligence o Owns and tracks the revenue and cost goals for Core & CNPF Portfolio Intelligence P&L o Drives discussion on trade-offs with peers across the Portfolio Intelligence program to achieve overall program financial goals o Manages the P&L to achieve long-term quality revenue growth

  • Demonstrable leadership experience, driving strategic relationships across the Mastercard origination as a product leader
  • Demonstrable experience navigating a multi-layered global organization, influencing both global & regional collogues (including virtually)
  • Demonstrable financial acumen, with strong experience managing a P&L, driving growth of greenfield solutions
  • Strong experience working with Mastercard customers, developing user personas and aligning solutions to users workflows
  • Strong technical product development experience, having previously worked with technical product teams, engineering teams and senior technology leadership
  • Proficiency in technology architecture, with experience in cloud-native solutions
  • Desire to roll up sleeves and make direct contributions, specifically with peers inside & outside the Portfolio Intelligence program
  • Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence technology and desire to apply technology to solve problems
  • Strong communicator & demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior executives

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
