" Responsibilities Openings in a Project Management Unit (PMU) for an ongoing Central Government project in New Delhi: Position 1: Technical Textiles Expert Educational Qualifications Mandatory: B.Tech in Textile Technology / Bachelors of Fashion Technology from a recognized university/institution M.Tech in Textiles / MBA from a reputed institute Desirable: Specialization in Technical Textiles, Nonwovens, Composites, or Allied Application Areas Industry Experience 03-06 years of overall experience within which minimum 3 years in the Technical Textiles industry Hands-on experience in one or more sub-segments: Meditech, Agrotech , Geotech, Buildtech , Mobiltech , Protech, Indutech , Sportech, Packtech , Hometech , Clothtech , or Oekotech Candidates with prior exposure to government-funded projects, industry bodies, or textile research associations will be preferred Key Competencies Strong domain knowledge of technical textiles manufacturing, applications, and value chain Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment with agility and sensitivity Excellent research, data analysis, report writing, presentation, and communication skills Position 2: Specialty Fibre Expert Educational Qualifications Mandatory: B.Tech in Textile Chemistry / Textile Engineering or B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university/institution M.Tech in Fibre Science / Fibre Technology / Polymer Science from a reputed institute Desirable: PhD or M.Phil in Fibre Science, Polymer Engineering, or allied disciplines Certifications or advanced coursework in high-performance or specialty fibre technologies (e.g., carbon fibre , aramid, UHMWPE, biodegradable fibres ) Industry / Research Experience 2 - 3 years of demonstrable experience in Man-Made fiber industry Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience of working with specialty fibres such as carbon fibre , glass fibre , basalt fibre , ceramic fibre , aramid, UHMWPE, or bio-based/sustainable fibres Key Competencies Strong technical knowledge of fibre science, polymer chemistry, and manufacturing processes Strong analytical, research, and scientific communication skills Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment with agility and sensitivity Position 3: Textiles Industry Expert Educational Qualifications Mandatory: B.Tech in Textile Technology from a recognized university/institution Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates with M.Tech in Textiles / MF Tech (Master of Fashion Technology) / MFM (Master of Fashion Management) / MBA from a reputed institute Consulting experience in a management consultancy, industry body, or government advisory firm Exposure to textile value chain analytics, trade policy research, or investment promotion work Industry & Consulting Experience 03-06 years of industry / consulting experience with textile/ technical textiles sector Preference will be given to candidates with experience of working with both conventional and technical textile Prior consulting or advisory experience in the textiles, apparel, or allied manufacturing sectors is strongly preferred Exposure to trade data analysis, policy drafting, market research, or market promotion will be an advantage Experience in working with State or Central Government departments, industry associations, or multilateral bodies is valued Key Competencies Strong understanding of the textiles and technical textiles value chain and market — domestic and global Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, and presentation development Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder environment with agility and sensitivity Mandatory Skill Sets: New product development process improvement Preferred Skill Sets: Consulting Years of Experience required: 3-5 Education Qualification: B Tech Education (if blank, degree and/or field of study not specified) Degrees/Field of Study required: Bachelor of Engineering Degrees/Field of Study preferred: Certifications (if blank, certifications not specified) Required Skills Consulting Optional Skills Accepting Feedback, Active Listening, Communication, Community Relations, Customer Data Management (CDM), Diversity Program Development, Emotional Regulation, Empathy, Environmental Health And Safety, Human Capital Management, Human Rights Issues, Inclusion, Intellectual Curiosity, Investor Communications, Just Transition, Optimism, Product Safety, Safety Compliance, Social Impact Assessments, Teamwork, Upskilling (Inactive), Well Being Desired Languages (If blank, desired languages not specified) Travel Requirements Not Specified Available for Work Visa Sponsorship?
