As the Project Manager , your role is critical to strengthening Telstra’s in-house project management capability, supporting long-term delivery across a pipeline of property projects aligned to future workforce needs and enterprise priorities.
You’ll work across refurbishments, revitalisation programs and strategic property initiatives, partnering closely with internal teams and external delivery partners to bring projects to life. Grow your career with access to mentoring, development, and long-term opportunities Join an organisation driven by purpose—building a connected future where everyone can thrive What You’ll Do As a Project Manager, you will: Project Delivery & Execution Lead end-to-end delivery of capital works projects including refurbishments, upgrades and workplace transformations Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and aligned to quality and compliance standards Translate strategic property plans into executable project outcomes Financial & Commercial Management Manage capex budgets, forecasts and project financial performance across multiple initiatives Drive cost control, value management and commercial outcomes across delivery Stakeholder & Partner Management Work across Telstra teams (Property, Finance, Workplace Technology) and external partners Lead stakeholder engagement to align priorities and drive project outcomes Influence senior stakeholders on complex project decisions Governance, Risk & Compliance Maintain strong governance aligned to Telstra frameworks and policies Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies across project lifecycles Deliver accurate reporting to stakeholders and governance forums Delivery Leadership Lead and coordinate project teams, consultants and contractors Champion safety, accountability and continuous improvement across delivery What We’re Looking for Mandatory skills: Strong project leadership experience – able to lead meetings, align stakeholders and drive delivery across complex environments Proven financial management capability – experience delivering projects to budget and managing financial performance Formal project management training / development demonstrating commitment to the discipline and long-term career growth Key Skills & Experience: Demonstrated experience delivering complex property or infrastructure projects Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across multiple teams Commercial acumen with a focus on value creation and efficiency Ability to operate in a matrix environment and manage competing priorities Experience working within governance frameworks and structured delivery environments Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Property or related discipline At least 5+ years of relevant experience in project delivery If you’re a project management professional who thrives in complex environments and is excited to shape the future of Telstra’s property portfolio—we’d love to hear from you.
