As a Cloud & AI Digital Solution Area Specialist , you'll partner with mid-market customers to drive AI and cloud transformation. Working closely with technical, partner, and consulting teams, you'll lead strategic customer conversations, advance complex opportunities, and help customers achieve their business goals while exceeding revenue targets.

Responsibilities Sales Execution Engage customers in digital transformation conversations.

Identify, qualify, and progress opportunities. Build pipeline and convert opportunities into revenue. Apply Microsoft's sales process to deal strategy and execution. Opportunity & Deal Orchestration Coordinate account teams, partners, services, and specialists.

Manage complex opportunities across multiple stakeholders. Drive opportunities from discovery through close. Business Relationship Management Build trusted customer relationships. Expand executive and stakeholder networks. Influence customer decisions through consultative engagement.

Territory & Business Planning Manage the end-to-end business of an assigned territory. Develop portfolio plans and forecasting. Conduct whitespace analysis and identify growth opportunities. Business Value & Strategic Selling Understand customer business priorities.

Connect Cloud & AI solutions to measurable business outcomes. Use strong business acumen to influence customer investment decisions. Technology & Industry Expertise Demonstrate knowledge of Cloud & AI solutions. Understand industry trends and the competitive landscape.

Position Microsoft effectively against competitors. Sales Excellence Collaborate across sales, marketing, partner, and delivery teams. Participate in account planning and rhythm-of-business reviews. Drive customer satisfaction and long-term growth.

Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications Master's Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 8+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience. 3+ years of solution sales or consulting services sales experience Digital Solution Area Specialists IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $106,100.00 - CAD $169,300.00 per year.
