Corporate Shared Services Project Director – Encore Corporate Shared Services Team The job profile for this position is for a part-time Encore role, which is a Band 5 Director Career Track Role. Our Team The Corporate Shared Services team is a benchmark operation with a highly consultative approach to achieving the organization’s needs in a rapidly growing and complex environment.
The team’s mission is to provide industry expertise in support of The Cigna Group business initiatives. Deliver innovative tools, technology and spend management controls while ensuring policy compliance and due diligence. The Corporate Shared Services team is comprised of several areas of knowledge expertise: Global Travel management, Executive services, T&E policy, Travel Communications, Duty of Care, Group meeting governance, Corporate Card and Fleet Management.
These areas support all of The Cigna Group business initiative globally including product, sales, and service operations. This is a high-visibility team that interfaces with top level executives, customers, brokers, all levels of employees and a large number of vendors.

Our Role The Corporate Shared Services Project Director is a part-time Encore role that will serve as a strategic consultant to the Corporate Shared Services team—providing advisory support, thought partnership, and guidance to ensure key initiatives are aligned to department priorities.
The role will focus on strategic alignment and project support, including: - Dedicated strategic insights for department providing directional project support and targeted industry knowledge. - Provide project oversight and guidance on efficiency and effectiveness enablement (supporting the team with frameworks, structure, and best practices). - Partner with consultant-led workstreams to support enablement, remove roadblocks, and provide strategic perspective as needed. - Support department initiatives by providing project coordination and governance to advance E&E enablement. - Provide support for department initiatives—such as the Corporate Card RFP and implementation and the AMEX GBT/CWT transition—by advising on approach, risks, stakeholder alignment, and decision-making. - Advise on enhancements to the existing Duty of Care structure by assessing current processes, recommending SOP improvements, and aligning refinements with key internal stakeholders. - Provide strategic guidance to evolve the Executive Services travel support model—identifying opportunities to strengthen the customer experience and streamline service delivery and management. -This role will report to the Director, Global Travel, Corporate Solutions and Meeting Governance Our Ideal Candidate Will Offer: - Expert knowledge of successful industry techniques, technology, innovation and strategic insights. - Must have a keen sense of corporate culture with the ability to effectively communicate and conduct themselves in a highly professional manner. - 25+ years of experience in travel management, meetings governance, corporate card programs, and corporate shared services within a mid-to- large global organization - A proven leader who builds confidence, accountability, trust, and respect, with a focus on continuous development - Strong alignment to enterprise vision and values, with the courage to navigate complexity and leverage networks to drive outcomes - Global project/program management experience, with a track record of driving innovation, agility, and rapid learning in a fast-changing industry - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required; advanced degree preferred If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
