- continuous improvement. Candidates will manage the relationship between cost, speed
- service by developing innovative ideas which create value for our customers. PE's have customer impact by identifying and solving process defects, deep diving data, using engineering principles in the development of processes and planning tools

Key job responsibilities - Develop labor standards through work measurement - Create operational models and planning to support both sort and ramp operations - Manage projects from conception to completion - Conduct and lead project meetings with Senior and Regional leaders - Assess and optimize the processes and equipment used in the facility - Typical projects could include spearheading a floor layout redesign, evaluating the ergonomic needs and issues within work areas
- conducting a capacity planning and analysis study including the operational execution plan - Understand, articulate
- implement mechanisms that drive efficient processes - Evaluate flight schedules to determine operational impacts - Calculate ground support equipment (GSE) needs at regular intervals - Plan and design systems that meet business needs by improving integration of people, materials, equipment, software

About the team The Amazon Air Process Engineering team will create the Earth’s most customer-centric Air Logistics program using Industrial Engineering principles to create an Amazon-designed network built on disruptive solutions and relentless innovation.
- 2+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience - 4+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience - Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment - Work flexible schedule including weekends, nights
- holidays - Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration
- equivalent STEM field - Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools - Experience in Logistics, Distribution or Fulfillment processes - Experience working under pressure in a cross-functional organization - Bachelor's degree - Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
- experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
- Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration
- equivalent STEM field - Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies
