Virgin Islands, and other U.S. territories. As a member of the Inspections team, you will be responsible for supporting our Background Investigators and ensuring adherence to the contract through customer and internal audits

Responsibilities

  • Under close supervision, will assist in receiving, tracking, and overseeing the completion of federal client contract inspections.
  • Will also conduct internal inspections on contract program requirements; to identify risk, liabilities, improvements, and compliance on a recurring basis.
  • Will assist with conducting announced and unannounced inspections, capturing data, writing inspection reports, and providing recommendations and/or solutions to reduce risk and potential failures.
  • You will assist in conducting research and inspections by using general and expansive investigative and contract knowledge as needed for receiving, tracking, gathering information and writing inspection responses.
  • Receives, tracks, and delivers client inspections.
  • Plans and research contract requirements, strategizes inspection methods, conducts internal inspections, controls, and organizes data, formulates written reports, and disseminates inspection results.
  • Inspects performance by measuring requirements within the contract, the plans incorporated into the contract, including updates, addendums, and modifications therein.
  • Communicate with respective project and program managers, department managers, subject matter experts, company contracting officers, federal client employees and others as needed, to communicate inspection results and/or findings.
  • Develops and maintains best standards for meeting inspection requirements.
  • Communicate with staff employees and field investigative employees on violations of policies, failure with any inspection and work to improve their quality and standard of meeting requirements

Qualifications

  • Required: A bachelor’s degree or equivalent Clearance: Active Top-Secret Clearance based on a T5.
  • If you do not currently have this clearance you will have to obtain this clearance level prior to starting in the role.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face.
  • Requires use of office software and communication systems such as email and federal client computer systems.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Desired: Previous experience as a Background Investigator, Case Reviewer, or experience on an Oversight Investigations team. - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.

  • Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
