- Amazon Studios is the original content arm of Amazon.com, responsible for producing content that engages our customers across the globe, including successful series/shows such as "Family Man", "Raakh", and "Matka King". We are seeking an experienced contract administrator/business affairs coordinator, who's role will be two fold: this individual will be involved in heavily administrative functions as well as work closely with Business Affairs Lead and Business Affairs execs to coordinate on business affairs matters with internal and external stakeholders across all shows/movies as well as on downstream talent deals. A successful candidate will need to have a good working knowledge of the basics on deal making in the India entertainment industry
- have dealt with paperwork/contracts at a basic level, have high level of organisational skills and be able to handle high volume tasks at a given time. Their prior experience of working for an entertainment agency, studio or organization will be helpful

A high level of competence integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is key. This position is located in Mumbai. Key job responsibilities Contract Administration & Management Processing contracts for original content productions, including talent agreements, production services agreements, licensing deals, and ancillary agreements Managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, ensuring timely turnaround and compliance with internal policies Coordinating contract amendments, extensions, and renewals in alignment with business requirements Maintaining accurate and up-to-date contract records across internal systems and databases Rights Management Administering rights management tools and systems to track content rights, license windows, and territorial availability Ensuring accurate entry and maintenance of deal and title information, including key dates, statuses, and rights parameters Conducting periodic audits of rights data to identify and resolve discrepancies or data quality issues Supporting rights clearance processes for content distribution across multiple territories Stakeholder Coordination Serving as a key liaison between Business Affairs, Creative, Production, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, and Legal teams Coordinating with external partners including production houses, talent representatives, and vendors to facilitate contract execution Managing communication workflows to ensure all parties are aligned on deal terms, timelines, and deliverables Escalating issues and flagging risks to senior Business Affairs leadership in a timely manner Deal Support & Documentation Assisting Business Affairs Executives in structuring and closing deals by preparing deal summaries, comparison sheets, and financial breakdowns Tracking deal milestones, payment schedules, and deliverable timelines to ensure contractual obligations are met Preparing and maintaining deal trackers, status reports, and dashboards for leadership visibility Supporting due diligence processes by gathering and organizing relevant documentation Process Management & Compliance Ensuring adherence to internal approval workflows, signature protocols, and compliance requirements Raising and managing tickets for data corrections, system updates, and process exceptions Identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the development of standard operating procedures Supporting cross-functional initiatives related to system implementations, tool migrations, and workflow optimization Multi-Territory Support Providing contract administration support across multiple territories and regions Adapting to varying legal frameworks, business practices, and operational requirements across geographies Stepping up to cover additional territorial responsibilities during transition periods or team changes Reporting & Analytics Generating regular reports on contract status, deal pipeline, and key performance metrics Tracking turnaround times, SLA adherence, and workload distribution for business review meetings Contributing data and insights for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews A day in the life As a Business Affairs Coordinator, no two days are the same — but every day is fast-paced. You'll start your morning triaging contract requests and updating rights management systems, ensuring deal data is accurate and current across territories. By midday, you're coordinating with Creative, Legal, Finance, and Production teams to keep deals moving forward. Afternoons are spent processing contracts, preparing deal summaries for executives in active negotiations, and tracking milestones to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll wrap up the day updating trackers, flagging escalations, and handing off to international counterparts across time zones. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, loves working at the intersection of content and commerce, and can juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat. - 2+ years of studio, production company or television network experience - 2+ years of entertainment industry deal negotiation experience - Knowledge of purchase orders and invoice payments - Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
