- continuous improvement. Role Profile LSEG Post Trade division – SwapClear is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer based in London, UK working in a hybrid model. You will be responsible for the following: Be subject matter experts in underlying technologies Provide detailed technical support for developers producing bug fixes and new releases Be self-motivated with the ability to prioritise engineering decisions Contribute to modernising DevOps practices through automation and AI-assisted engineering capabilities Key Responsibilities Design, implement
- lead CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform) Develop and maintain containerised applications (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS) Monitor and optimise performance, reliability
- scalability (DataDog) Collaborate with development teams for seamless integration and deployment Implement and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS) Ensure security and compliance through standard processes and audits Troubleshoot issues across development, testing
- production environments Mentor and guide team members to promote continuous improvement Drive POCs and onboarding of new tools , including AI-assisted development and intelligent automation Explore and implement AI-assisted automation to enhance DevOps workflows and developer productivity. Support development of intelligent automation tools / agents for: CI/CD execution Code validation Incident resolution Key Tools and Technologies DevOps Tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform Cloud: AWS Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS Monitoring: DataDog Scripting: Python, Bash, Shell Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or automation frameworks is a plus Experience and Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or equivalent) Strong hands-on experience in DevOps and Cloud technologies Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) Knowledge of Ansible, Terraform, YAML-based pipelines Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure Scripting knowledge ( Shell / PowerShell ) and Python (advantageous) Experience with Agile / Scrum practices Exposure to on-prem to cloud migration (preferred) Knowledge of SQL / PL-SQL optimisation Familiarity with Control-M or scheduling tools (desirable) Experience in financial services / investment banking environments Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Willingness to work in a hybrid model based in London, UK Exposure to AI/ML-powered tooling in software engineering or DevOps workflows Experience integrating automation or AI tools into CI/CD pipelines or developer workflows Career Stage: Senior Associate London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Information: Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality
