As a Customer Data Onboarding & Communications Lead (Business Analysis Advisor Sr) within PNC's Data, Modeling & Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA (or other location within the PNC Footprint). This role will lead two functions with high visibility and impact for PNC’s Customer Data Management suite of products: Onboarding Responsibilities:
- Serves as the primary liaison and business analyst between internal applications with a need to integrate with customer data products and our technology partner that designs, develops and implements our product suite solutions.
- Manages the overall onboarding process ensuring efficient and successful integration with our product suite.
- Functionally assigns and directs the tasks of other team members supporting the Onboarding process.
- Provides broad and deep subject‑matter expertise to guide decision‑making, support cross‑functional partners, and ensure high‑quality execution.
- Develops and delivers clear, timely onboarding status updates for peers, management, and executive stakeholders, including progress, risks, dependencies, and decisions needed. Communications Responsibilities:
- Publishes monthly technical release communications that clearly summarize upcoming database, API, Kafka, and related platform changes, key dates, stakeholder impacts, and actions required for integrated applications.
- Develops breaking change communications that translate technical changes and integration impacts into clear, actionable guidance for both technical and business stakeholders, enabling technical teams to identify required API or system updates and business partners to understand related interface, process
- customer experience impacts.
- Writes informative narratives for high-impact enhancements, strategic improvements, and major wins, positioning the value to PNC, customers, business partners, and executive stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience performing systems analysis, gathering business and technical use cases, and translating stakeholder needs into clear requirements and actionable outcomes.
- Experience developing communications for diverse stakeholder audiences, including technical teams, business partners, management, and executive stakeholders.
- Technical acumen or demonstrated exposure to APIs, databases, data integration patterns, and related platform capabilities. Job Description Leads the research, discovery, collection and interpretation of business requirements. Participates in the development and review of complex processes and procedures, workflow analytics and reporting. Provides senior level consultation and communicates with clients and technology teams on business designs, complex problem solving and business analysis to reach project goals and objectives. Consults and recommends the frameworks, methodologies and processes involved in business requirements traceability for business analysis teams. Independently mentors, leads, and coaches more junior associates to affect knowledge transfer. Oversees the development and maintenance of all applicable policy and procedure documentation. Translates business needs, processes and/or procedures by partnering with applicable experts and business stakeholders to determine and articulate strategic needs. Communicates with senior level stakeholders and technology teams on more complex business requirements. Leads multiple business analysis project management processes through planning, quality assurance and effectiveness assessment. Provides strategic direction for the successful deployment of projects. Drives the development, analysis and distribution of complex reporting.
