The Amazon MGM Studios Distribution department, launched in 2023, is a dynamic division within the Prime Video US and Global organization. We manage an extensive portfolio of premium content, overseeing the television licensing of both Amazon MGM Studios' original productions and MGM's renowned film and television catalogue.

Our diverse portfolio spans iconic franchises like James Bond, Rocky, and Creed, acclaimed series such as The Handmaid's Tale and Fargo, and highly anticipated upcoming theatrical releases including Project Hail Mary, Masters of the Universe, and The Thomas Crown Affair.

We are looking for a Distribution Coordinator to join our Munich-based Amazon MGM Studios Distribution team. In this role, you will support the evaluation and administration of content licensing opportunities across German-speaking Europe (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Central & Eastern Europe (CEE).

Key job responsibilities - Supporting the evaluation of content licensing opportunities through market research and financial analysis. - Preparing and maintaining client product availability reports and presentations. - Preparing internal deal submission documents including deal outlines and approval forms. - Liaising with clients regarding general content and deal follow-up queries. - Supporting the planning and coordination of local client screenings. - Coordinating rights clearances and material checks with Contracts Services and Delivery Teams. - Coordinating meeting diaries at markets and events including MIPCOM and LA Screenings. - Updating shared team resources and tools such as client contact databases. - Participating in ad-hoc process improvement projects

About The Team

  • Experience handling multiple projects simultaneously - Knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word - Highly proficient in both spoken and written English and German (CEFR C1 or above)
  • Experience in media, entertainment
  • content licensing/distribution - Experience with end-to-end project coordination, including event or market logistics - Proficiency in an additional Central or Eastern European language (e.g., Polish, Czech
