F-22 Software Capabilities and Staffing Senior Manager Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a Software Capabilities and Staffing Senior Manager (Level L) located in Berkeley, Missouri. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Software Engineering organization.

The Software Capabilities and Staffing Senior Manager is responsible for the leadership of a team of software engineers that develop flight software for the F-22 Raptor. This position reports to the Senior Software Engineering Manager and works alongside other software teams as well as many other cross-functional organizations.

Position Responsibilities: Responsible for cost, schedule, safety and quality performance of the Operational Flight Program (OFP) development work scope on the team Works with our customers, our partner (LM), our suppliers, our Boeing leaders and our employees to achieve technical excellence in our software products Staffing focal for the F-22 Software team in both St.

Louis, MO and Richardson, TX Represents the software team in planning, processes, and execution of capability roadmap milestones and objectives Assists the Software M-level senior manager and the Mission Systems M-level manager in leading the teams in delivering capability to the warfighter which includes the customer’s plans for a new RADAR on the F-22 Mentors the K-level managers on the Software and Mission Systems team Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience): Bachelors Degree This position requires an active U.S.

Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) 3+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role (either as a lead or a manager) 3+ years of experience with software development processes Experience planning and executing staffing and employee development strategies Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience with Mission systems or software experience on Boeing fighter platforms Experience with delivery of program software products within cost and schedule Experience managing employees and first-level managers performing software engineering and technical activities related to supporting program lifecycle software design, development, integration, maintenance, and delivery Experience developing and executing integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures Travel: Some travel may be required up to 10% of the time.

Summary Pay Range: $198,050 - $267,950 Potential signing bonus for eligible/qualified external candidates. Language Requirements: Not Applicable Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Relocation: Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
