We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Facilities Management Group Manager to lead the operational excellence of our corporate real estate portfolio. This role is pivotal in creating a seamless, high-performing workplace that supports both our people and our business priorities.
As a strategic leader, you will oversee end-to-end facilities operations, influence critical business decisions, manage the financials, and drive innovation across asset management, sustainability, vendor partnerships, and risk management. You will also serve as a key connector across stakeholders, ensuring alignment, responsiveness, and an elevated workplace experience.
Lead & Operate Own and oversee day-to-day operations across all corporate facilities, ensuring best-in-class service delivery and workplace experience Be on call 24/7 for facilities management–related issues, providing leadership during critical situations Lead outsourced teams and vendor partners, driving accountability, performance, and continuous improvement Serve as a trusted escalation point for complex or high-impact facilities issues Relationship Management Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with Site Heads, Business Leads, and key stakeholders Act as the primary point of contact for resolving workplace challenges, including facilities issues and space-related matters Partner closely with business leaders to anticipate needs, provide proactive solutions, drive change management, and enhance the overall workplace experience Facilitate clear communication between facilities, leadership, and support teams to ensure alignment and rapid issue resolution Drive a customer-centric approach, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and responsiveness across all sites Drive Strategy & Performance Define and execute the Asset Management strategy in alignment with business goals Own full P&L and financial responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives Monitor utilities consumption and implement innovative, data-driven cost reduction and energy efficiency programs Prepare expenditure requests for infrastructure and strategy initiatives and provide system approvals for expenses Champion Sustainability Lead and advance sustainability initiatives across the portfolio Promote energy awareness and embed environmentally responsible practices into daily operations Support enterprise ESG goals through measurable and impactful outcomes Optimize Space & Experience Oversee occupancy planning, space optimization, and utilization strategies Conduct required site inspections (travel required) and Quality Building Operating Reviews (QBORs) Continuously adapt the workplace to meet evolving workforce needs and business priorities Ensure Compliance & Risk Management Ensure compliance with internal policies (training, records management, information security), health & safety standards, and local regulations Manage permits, licenses, regulatory requirements, insurance reporting, and other reporting requirements for maintenance Manage state and local incentives where applicable Lead risk mitigation, business continuity planning, and disaster recovery efforts Maintain a strong preventive maintenance program to maximize asset reliability Partner with FM teams on hurricane preparedness, recovery, and broader environmental risk planning Manage Vendors & Partnerships Lead strategic vendor management, including outsourced service providers Negotiate and oversee contracts across maintenance, infrastructure, and building systems Drive service excellence, innovation, and value creation across all vendor partnerships Skills and requirements Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Real Estate, or Project Management 6–10+ years of progressive experience in asset management, corporate real estate, or property management, ideally within the financial services industry or similarly complex environments Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile, and evolving corporate and real estate environment Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across business leaders, internal partners, landlords, brokers, and third-party providers Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly and concisely present complex information to all levels of management Strong financial expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and cost optimization Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach Experience tracking utilities, identifying trends, and delivering efficiency improvements Deep knowledge of building systems, facilities operations, maintenance practices, and operational best practices Understanding of space planning, occupancy strategy, and project management principles Solid knowledge of local regulatory, compliance, and health & safety requirements Demonstrated success in sustainability initiatives, energy management, and operational efficiency programs Familiarity with ESG practices; LEED and/or WELL accreditation is a plus Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to respond effectively to changing business needs Results-driven mindset with a proven track record of delivering against tight timelines and cost objectives Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Willingness and ability to travel as needed (sometimes last minute) to attend to issues at the site Availability to support on-call requirements and respond to critical facilities issues Qualifications: 10+ years relevant experience Education: Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
