  • Summary
  • We are seeking a collaborative and strategic Country Sales Manager, India to join our growing Temporal team. This role is ideal for a sales leader who enjoys building customer relationships, developing teams
  • expanding a business within a high-growth technology company. This role includes leading and supporting a team of Account Executives, partnering closely with customers and strategic partners
  • helping shape Temporal's go-to-market strategy across India. Travel is required to engage with customers, partners, attend industry events
  • collaborate in person with internal teams.
  • You will play a key role in establishing and growing Temporal's business across India. As the Country Sales Manager, you will help define the regional sales strategy, support the growth and development of the sales organization, build lasting customer and partner relationships

  • Partnerships to expand adoption of Temporal OSS and Cloud. You will also represent Temporal within the India technology ecosystem, helping strengthen our presence with enterprise customers, partners

  • What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for India, supporting new customer acquisition and long-term growth across enterprise accounts.
  • Identify, qualify, and close strategic enterprise opportunities while building a sustainable pipeline across the region.
  • Engage customers and prospects through executive meetings, regional events, industry conferences, and on-site engagements to strengthen relationships and support successful business outcomes.
  • Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles involving technical and executive stakeholders across large organizations.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales Development, Solutions Architecture, Developer Success, Customer Success, and Partnerships to deliver coordinated go-to-market initiatives.
  • Share market insights and customer feedback with Product and Go-to-Market teams to help inform product direction, regional priorities, and customer experience.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives, fostering an environment of collaboration, learning, and continuous professional growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer technical environments, business priorities, and market trends across India.
  • Tailor Temporal's value proposition to technical and executive audiences, helping customers solve complex distributed systems challenges.
  • Use CRM and sales tools to manage opportunities, maintain accurate forecasts, and support effective sales execution.
  • Represent Temporal by building trusted relationships with enterprise customers, strategic partners, cloud providers, system integrators, and the broader developer community.
  • Partner with APAC leadership to help shape regional business strategy, territory planning, forecasting, and long-term growth initiatives.
  • What You'll Need
  • 8+ years of enterprise technology or developer tools sales experience, including experience leading enterprise sales teams within India.
  • Experience developing and executing regional go-to-market strategies within a high-growth technology company.
  • Experience building or expanding a regional business, including developing customer relationships, supporting team growth, and identifying new market opportunities.
  • Demonstrated success growing enterprise business and closing complex six- and seven-figure opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software buying cycles, technical evaluation processes, and competitive landscapes.
  • Experience selling developer-focused, cloud infrastructure, open-source, AI, or other highly technical products is a plus.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing enterprise sales professionals.
  • Experience working with cloud providers, system integrators, channel partners, or broader technology ecosystems.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and influence stakeholders at all levels, from developers and architects to executive leadership.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic planning and execution.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts related to distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern software development.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Navigator, Common Room, ZoomInfo, and other modern sales technologies.
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Compensation
  • The estimated OTE pay range for this role is ₹8,000,000-₹11,000.000
