Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time. Position Summary The Senior Manager, Corporate Compliance helps ensure that Medicare and Medicaid health plan operations meet all federal and state regulatory requirements.
This role leads compliance activities, identifies and reduces compliance risks, and supports ethical business practices. The position works closely with compliance leaders, business partners, and regulators, with a primary focus on Special Needs Plans (SNPs).
Key Responsibilities Serve as the Compliance Officer for assigned Special Needs Plans (SNPs). Monitor and interpret Medicare, Medicaid, CMS, and state regulations. Advise business teams on compliance requirements and regulatory changes. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and processes.
Conduct compliance risk assessments, audits, monitoring activities, and corrective action oversight. Support interactions with regulators and assist in responding to regulatory inquiries. Lead or support CMS and state regulatory audits, from preparation through corrective action completion.
Build strong relationships with internal leaders and external stakeholders to promote compliant outcomes. Monitor compliance performance and recommend improvements when needed. Use compliance and reporting tools, including Microsoft Office and Archer.
Support enterprise-wide compliance initiatives and special projects. Perform other duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed Strong knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid compliance requirements, especially Special Needs Plans (SNPs). Understanding of CMS, NCQA, and state regulatory standards.
Experience with audits, monitoring, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans. Excellent project management, organization, and time management skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to interpret complex regulations and clearly explain requirements to business partners.
Experience working collaboratively in a matrixed organization. Proficiency with information systems and compliance tools. Required Qualifications 7+ years of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, or government healthcare compliance/regulatory experience. 2+ years of project management experience.
Ability to travel up to 10% as needed. Education Bachelor degree OR equivalent experience Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $82,940.00 - $182,549.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
