What Nuclear Manufacturing contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.

Nuclear Manufacturing is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive radiopharmaceuticals in an integrity driven, highly regulated environment (i.e. FDA, NRC, DOT) to support patient treatment through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring. $1,000 New Hire Sign On Bonus!

Schedule: Full-time - 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (8-hour shifts) or until work is complete Must be willing to work holidays, alternate shifts and schedules, and overtime as needed This position is benefit eligible the first day of employment.

This includes medical, dental, vision, Paid Time Off, education assistance, 401K and more! Responsibilities Adheres to radiation safety procedures and apply ALARA principles consistently in daily work to minimize personal and team exposure.

Performs routine radioactive contamination wipes and radiation surveys; reports abnormal findings to leadership. Successfully complete required training, including e-learning and hands-on components, and maintain ongoing proficiency and compliance.

Perform radiopharmaceutical manufacturing activities using radioactive isotopes and materials in accordance with approved procedures and production schedules. Perform radiopharmaceutical manufacturing tasks in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and FDA regulations.

Execute processes related to ingredient handling, bulk drug manufacturing, vial filling, inspection, labeling, packaging, shipping, and routine area cleaning and maintenance. Handle radioactive API material and intermediate/finished products using tele-manipulator arms attached to isolator equipment (hot cells).

Mix chemical components and fill vials according to approved manufacturing procedures. Perform routine equipment setup, operation, cleaning, and preventive maintenance activities while identifying and reporting equipment or process issues to supervision.

Execute manufacturing, characterization, and documentation activities in accordance with SOPs and batch records. Assist with investigations of production nonconformances and deviations as directed by Production Management and Quality Assurance.

Perform materials management activities, including inventory control, reconciliation, and powered industrial truck (forklift) operations. Use of full-face respirator, and other required PPE as necessary during cleaning, maintenance, repairs, or material retrieval activities.

Operate a company delivery vehicle as required to retrieve radioactive materials and deliver finished drug products in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures. Maintain accurate manufacturing, inventory, and compliance documentation.

Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred. 1–3 years of manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or related experience preferred. Background in sciences, chemistry, manufacturing, or laboratory environments preferred.

Understanding of cGMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical manufacturing practices preferred. Ability to qualify as an Authorized User for handling radioactive materials if needed Ability to manage up to 75 pounds Former or current PET (Positron Emission Tomography) Technician experience preferred Experience using tele-manipulator arms attached to isolator equipment (hot cells) preferred Powered industrial equipment experience a plus.

Identifies and reports process, equipment, or quality issues to supervision. Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to all quality standards. Works under general supervision with periodic review of completed work. Collaborates effectively with team members and support functions to achieve production goals.
